It's not easy to read, the author jumps between timelines, the abuser and his victims but although it is sometimes difficult to follow, it makes it realistic and believable. I am character-driven romance girlie at heart. When books have vibrant characters, chances are I’m gonna love it. And Addie and Cooper are vibrant and funny and perfect. Addie is a wild girl and Cooper is the quiet, steady, art professor. The two of them slowly realize they’re perfect for each other and when the spice finally hits omfg I’m still thinking about the beach scene 👀 I loved Oakley sm. Hannah writes obsessive men perfectly. And AVA!!!!! Her journey? I loved it. She’s adopted and is dealing with the dynamics between finding her biological mom and how that impacts her and her family. The emotions I felt while reading were 🥹 I think I’ve made a mistake by not being more honest with you,” he starts, his voice no more than a husky whisper.

He will do anything it takes to secure a contract with his team. On the other hand, Braxton is willing to do whatever it takes to gain Maddox’s trust and forgiveness for what happened years ago. And if a fake girlfriend is what Maddox needs, she is willing to commit to it. But as expected, the faking concept does not last long since the two have a strong connection that causes them pain when they separate. As a reader, you will enjoy seeing them forced to work through their issues and give each other a second chance at love and relationship. Overall, I just loved this one. It's heartfelt, so much dang fun, and yes, a little emotional. I loved getting to see the deeper connections between the families the relationships—the love, respect, and so much more that they all share. As well as catching up with my babies, Maddox and Braxton and getting a preview for the next couple. While I can't wait to see what happens next, I'm so sad to say goodbye to these two. The story is told in alternate time lines. Before which delves into the marriage and abuse Eve faced whilst married to Gregg.

Maddox is highly protective. And even though he’s got a filthy mouth, it’s not the same case when it comes to Braxton. He literary worships her and wants the best for her. On the other hand, Braxton is strong, witty, confident, kind, and got the kindest heart. I’ll forever recommend Hannah’s books to everyone and their mother. I’m super excited for the next book. The little snippets we got have me so hyped! His pursuit of her after ten years is carried out with similar ruthless intent. Again this is overlong for me; the medical detail sometimes detracts from the story's compelling suspense element. The characters are not easy to empathise. Mainly due to the writing style relying more on narration than showing how the characters feel through their actions and emotions. Now this isn’t a spoiler since it’s literally written in the book blurb, but…OMG ADDIE AND COOPER GETTING MARRIED?! OMG! After a drunken night, the next morning Addie and Cooper discovered they got married! Well at least Adam didn’t have to worry about finding someone for Cooper anymore lol! The idea of Adalyn and Cooper being married was unexpected, but also amazing because, what started off as an accidental marriage ended up becoming so much sweeter and enjoyable along the way for Cooper and Adalyn. I kid you not, I was LITERALLY waiting for that iconic moment when Cooper would refer to Adalyn as his wife in either a passionate romantic moment or in a protective alpha way. Either way I was vibing along and enjoying the story the more I read. I love marriages of convenience but this type of marriage was another kind I absolutely loved!

Oakley was a SWOON worthy book boyfriend. He was the absolute best. A little birdie told me, we see him again in the next generation series and I. Am. Here. For. That. !!

If you enjoy thrillers that create a realistic portrayel, gripping, contain alternative time lines then you Will really enjoy Her Greatest Mistake. This is an powerful book about spousal abuse in the extreme. While I found the story interesting, I could not fully understand why a woman who is a psychologist did not manage to get away from this man. It alludes to the fact that the British legal system is quite lenient to a man with money and power. I think that had Eve asked for help from the authorities earlier, she might had stood a better chance of getting away from this man. The author writes Eve as a strong woman but I felt that she was just weak. I absolutely loved this book and I can’t WAIT for Noah and Tinsley’s book. Hannah writing an anti-hero MUSICIAN??? I’ll just wait here patiently 🫠 Overall, “Her Greatest Mistake” is a gripping and intense thriller novel that explores the themes of betrayal, forgiveness, and the consequences of our actions.This was my second time reading the book and I loved it even more the second time around, the way Hannah writes her characters always makes me speechless. You can always find yourself connecting with at least one character in each book. That was me with Braxton in this one, Our female lead. Who I adore to pieces. This series is a second gen series and the family/friend dynamics are so so amazing. And when Maddox makes an appearance I about died. We love a protective older brother moment! I fell for Maddox HARD but Cooper gave him a run for his moneyyyyyy. The mouth on him? Bye. I noticed this book was very different from everything else Hannah had written, not bc it didn’t have anything to do with sports (which she normally writes about) but because the way in which she wrote about Adalyn and Cooper just rendered me speechless in the best way possible! I adored this book!!! Addie is planning her summer getaway with her bestie. But when plans fall through and she needs someone to go with her, none other than her brother’s best friend, Cooper,—who is 10 years older than her—steps up. After a few stops, they land in Ireland and after a drunken night at the pub, they wake up married. With tattooed bands.
