A big selling point, to me, for eyeshadow palettes is variety in the color range. I want to be able to see on the eye that multiple colors are being used to create the look, rather than getting the illusion that one shade was applied all over the lid. You can look in the pans of Berry Bad and Acai You and see there is not much variation between the shades, which translates to the eyes.
