Associate members

Associate members are those who are housebound or unable to meet regularly as members of a specific Group but otherwise play a full part in the Ascent Movement.

They receive the Journal directly by mail and along with Group Members they take part in events organised either regionally or nationally, such as Study Days,

Days of Recollection, Pilgrimages and other outings, residential retreats and social activities.

The Associate member forms part of the powerhouse of prayer that is one of the hallmarks of the Movement.

The difficulties and sufferings of all frail or housebound members, when accompanied by their prayers, is of infinite value to the Mission of the Movement
