Ek could improve that maybe offering a left and right side variation, maybe little bit shorter tubes, and maybe do what other manufacturers do with a rotatable block to keep the logo where it should be. I also looked at my EK lga1700 mounting kit and adding washers wont matter as the way EK designs it the CPU bracket rests on the standoff so you cant increase pressure by adding washers.
