For this follow up, it’s obvious that he’s taken more care to ensure the dishes are more achievable for a home book. For example, in his introduction to the recipe for Sausage and Potatoes he says, ‘If you don’t want to make sausage, you don’t have to. You not only get a ton of wonderful recipes you also get to know the cook Matty Matheson, and as a bonus a lot of wonderful photographs. That’s probably why he was so successful as a police officer, a butcher, and a restaurant owner, not to mention a wonderful grandfather.
