While fighting the Vehicons, Galvatron remarked that Nucleon looked worse than Optimus had before Apex had replaced what was left of his face. Derailment After the Great War, Optimus Prime disappeared with other legends into the mysterious location on Cybertron dubbed J'nwan, where Optimus himself became the "Authority" who spoke on behalf of the others. Sandstorm, the leader of a rebellion in a 32nd-century firmly under the heel of the tyrannical Shokaract, entered J'nwan to plead with the heroes of Cybertron's past for aid. He hoped to convince them to join the fight against the Predacon warlord. After a mind-crushing journey which left all of his companions dead or deranged, Sandstorm finally found an audience with the Authority and his brethren, but they declined to help, with the Authority stating that their time was past and the war was no longer their war. The Authority then in some way manipulated Sandstorm's trip out of J'nwan such that it was comparatively short and simple. Paradox If Buddy instead cowered away, Cosmos came to Optimus's rescue. Optimus then instructed Cosmos to send him flying towards Hook; the pair took out the Constructicon, and gained control of the gravity beam. Ukrainian: Optimus Najkrashchiy (Оптимус Найкращий, "Optimus the Best"), Optimus Prime (Оптимус Прайм) [23]

Domitius Major, the Maximal explorer from the 2005 IDW continuity who took up the mantle of "Optimus Prime" following the loss of his own memories. Optimus Prime is equipped with 80 sound effects, voiced by the original voice of the Autobot leader, with genuine “converting” sounds, as you watch and interact with Optimus Prime. In Primax 092.0 Beta, Optimus Prime was a student of Hyperdrive at the Elite Guard academy before the Great War. Ask Vector Prime, 16/07/2015 Ten thousand years in the future, the Transformers of that era were uncertain if "Optimus Convoy" had ever really existed, and most believed him to be a mythological hero of folklore. The Inexorable March Universe comicOptimus was amongst the Autobots about to be topped up with their latest batch of fuel when Red Alert burst into Autobot headquarters, warning everyone about Ramjet being spotted nearby. Red Alert's warning came in just in time, as the Autobots’ fuel had been poisoned, and Optimus would have been left unable to transform had he ingested any of it. All right, do-over. This time I'll skip the visions of doom, and you won't get yourself tangled up with Cobra. Deal?" Optimus is a very brave and strong leader who fights with equal compassion and power, valuing all life and unwilling to bow down to tyranny or terror. He has an undying commitment to leadership and peace and sees violence only as a last resort. He is straightforward, wise, and upbeat. He believes in the good of everyone, not looking down on humans and other beings as lesser, like Megatron does. After a period of effective leadership, Optimus engaged Megatron in a video game duel for possession of a super fuel. Optimus was victorious, but Megatron implemented a cheat, allowing him to re-enter the game. Optimus was able to defeat him yet again, but in doing so, also destroyed several of the game sprites, and refused to accept his victory, as he had performed an action that compromised his beliefs about the preservation of life, which he would never have done, had the duel been real. In accordance with the rules of the game, Optimus's body exploded and he died, leaving the Autobots without a leader to fight against Megatron and his Decepticons. Afterdeath! Autobot surgeon Ratchet's subsequent efforts to restore him were unsuccessful, and his body was launched into space. Funeral for a Friend! The funeral barge eventually crashed on a giant moon where it lay for untold time. At one stage, an alien ship crashed near the barge. The dying alien reached out toward the Matrix, with the Matrix choosing to revive the being as Death Bringer. Much later, the Matrix would revive a small predatory animal which would prove instrumental to the conclusion of the Matrix Quest. As a result of Starscream sneaking off, Prime regained enough strength to stand against Megatron until Jazz and Windblade arrived to reinforce him; realizing that Starscream had abandoned the fray to conquer Kronos, capital of the Klingon Empire, the Decepticons made a hasty retreat while the heroes regrouped to pursue their foes, which included beaming Optimus and the other Autobots to the cargo hold of the real Enterprise, so that their knowledge of Cybertronian engineering could speed up the repairs. Prime's Directive, Part Four

As noted on this thread here, Optimus Prime made a surprising (and somewhat awkward) cameo in the January 2009 issue of "P.S.: The Preventive Maintenance Monthly" (#674), a monthly magazine issued by the United States Army that discusses issues in regards to equipment maintenance (scan included in thread; look for post #5).

Box and Contents

Roller is a droid, able to function autonomously without Optimus's active oversight. But without Optimus, by far the most important of the three modules, Roller would not survive. Optimus shows great attachment and concern for Roller, who is left particularly vulnerable by the behind-the-scenes situations in which it specializes. Optimus was enjoying the lull in Decepticon activity along with the rest of his Autobots, when he recommended that Beachcomber take a vacation. Beachcomber gladly accepted.

Optimus alerted both the Protectobots and the Aerialbots that Menasor was on the loose, and the Decepticon threat was "bigger than ever." Transformers Generations: Combiner Wars commercials Optimus Prime and his troops lay deactivated on the Fera Islands for three million years until G.I. Joe stumbled upon them one day in 1939. The Line The Autobots were reactivated by a repair drone and given new disguises, with Optimus Prime being reformatted into an unknown World War II-era human vehicle. He explained to Duke who they were, and learned that Megatron's Decepticons had been reactivated a year prior, and were currently wreaking havoc on Europe along with Cobra. While hesitant at first, Optimus Prime soon joined G.I. Joe in their mission to destroy Cobra and the Decepticons. Transformed After commanding the Aerialbots to get the Seekers out of the way, Prime advanced across the Fera Islands, but met resistance in the form of Rumble. Trial by Fire Optimus Prime eventually returned, once as a zombie, and again when he was rebuilt by the Quintessons to stop the spread of the Hate Plague. Russian: Optimus Prime (Оптимус Прайм Optimus Prajm), Orion Mirnyy (Орион Мирный, "Orion Peaceful") If they took the right passageway, the group soon happened upon Jessie, whom they freed. Telling them she knew the location of the Decepticons’ lab, Jessie then led the group into a Decepticon trap; she had been brainwashed. The Autobots were captured and Megatron's plan to destroy Center City came to fruition.

Summary

When Optimus Prime was restored to life as Star Convoy, he was equipped with an upgraded version of Roller known as the Micro Carrier. As the battle wore on, Optimus attempted to drive the Autobots too wounded to outrun the Beast themselves to safety, carrying them within his trailer. Jetfire showed up in time to rescue most of his passengers, leaving Optimus to deal with The Beast on his own. Seeing a city coming closer over the horizon, Optimus attempted to reach the Dinobots one last time from within The Beast. As his former troops remained unresponsive, Optimus led The Beast to its doom, blasting it a few more times before leading it to fall into a chasm. Optimus himself was rescued from the fall at the last possible moment by Jetfire's timely return. As the two of them looked on at the Beast's inert form, Optimus wondered out loud if their battles would truly ever come to an end. The Beast Within Part 2, Consequences Mr. Optimus Prime of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio - a Navy veteran, International Firefighter, and more dedicated fan than you. Note: The Classics comic takes place after the end of the original Marvel Comic, but in a new timeline that does not include the events of the Marvel UK-exclusive stories or Generation 2 . Dear Convoy Warm it before you eat Mom Although the ad itself is for Pepsi Convoy, he is a separate character, and it can be assumed that the note was left for Convoy/Optimus Prime himself.
