The Flymo EasiMow 340R runs on a 1400 watt motor. This is a nice amount of power for an electric mower of this size, so you can feel confident that it’ll get the job done efficiently. The weight of the machine makes it more manageable for less-firm individuals. And the roller adds to the stability when using the EasiStore. So when I discovered the Flymo EasiMow 340R, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it and give it a try. When it comes to the handles, they simply screw together with a twist cap, so there’s no need to use a screwdriver or any other tools. On the left side, the caps were different from the right. This makes it possible to wrap the cable around the left-hand side after use, which is a handy feature.

The handlebar will fold into two — but the real practicality comes when the machine is stood upright for storage, and the grass box is hanging from it. These high-performance blades have wings at their tips to increase the lifting power and improve the cut quality of the grass. The handlebar also has a built-in cable tidy, allowing you to keep the cable neat and untwisted, ready for the next time you lay it out. In terms of performance, the Flymo EasiMow 300R had no trouble trimming a small area of grass that had low-to-medium growth. There are 3 cutting heights available and I used the highest setting of 60 mm. To avoid this, I walked slower for the rest of the cut and applied quite a hard pressure when pushing. If you’re cutting tall grass, the 1000 W engine may not be enough to get through it. The ideal cutting conditions for this mower seem to be well-manicured lawns that aren’t dense or heavy with growth. It’s also great to note that there is a handy cable wrap so you won’t get in a twist when storing the mower. More importantly, you won’t have to spend ages untangling the wire when it comes to the next mow. Manoeuvrability / Usability - The mower is lightweight and features a long 10 metre power cable for manoeuvrability. It also has dual lever handles so that you can operate it with either hand, which is perfect for households with left and right handers.
