Description

EOSDC-CNSA facilitates and provides GF-1 data to various clients including tens of national ministries and agencies, local governments, research institutions, universities, enterprises and organizations in China. EOSDC-CNSA is eager to distribute Gaofen data in international cooperation agreements (Ref. 3). HELSINKI — China added its initially civilian Gaofen Earth observation series Friday with the launch of the classified optical geostationary Gaofen-13 (02) satellite. While details have been published of the Gaofen 1 through 7 satellites, those designed Gaofen-8 remain classified, indicating military customers. On March 6, 2015, the satellite finished orbital commissioning and tested application in the areas of land resources, environmental protection and agriculture and was officially declared operational. The results of orbital commissioning show that the main performance parameters are better than expected. The image quality is excellent. GF-2 will work in coordination with the other remote sensing satellites such as GF-1, CBERS-3 and ZY3. The services provided by the satellite will help boost development of Chinese image data application and spatial information sectors and help them reduce their imports of higher-resolution imageries.

When it comes to using the words “chaos” and “cheos” in a sentence, it’s important to understand their meanings and how they differ. Here’s a closer look at how to use each word correctly: How To Use “Chaos” In A Sentence China will launch its follow-up model, the Gaofen-6, later in 2018 to form a network with other Gaofen satellites, the Xinhua News Agency reported 10 May 2018. Data gathered by Gaofen satellites are being widely used in more than 20 fields and 30 provinces, China News Service reported. It also contributes to international cooperation by laying the foundation to the Belt and Road initiative's space and information programs, according to the report.Cheos” is not a recognized word in the English language. It is possible that it is a misspelling of “chaos.” Therefore, it is not recommended to use “cheos” in a sentence as it is not a valid word. Hypertension/Renal Transplantation; Medical Education; Outcome/Evaluation Method Applied to Renal PatientsThe satellite is configured with two barrel-mounted panchromatic and two MS (Multispectral) cameras, providing a combined swath width of 45.3 km. The revisit frequency of the spacecraft is in the range of 4 -69 days, depending on the particular application, and the observation range of the mission covers a region between 80ºN to ~80ºS. China's National Satellite Ocean Application Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources, together with related departments, will take responsibility for on-orbit testing. The satellite was developed by the China Academy of Space Technology (CAST) and features upgrades over the first Gaofen 3, including optimized imaging, improved ship-positioning technology and real-time onboard processing that makes imagery available much faster than transmitting raw data does. Originally, Gaofen was projected as a program comprised of seven satellites, but 2015 saw the launches of Gaofen-8 and 9 – probably additions to the original constellation in a suspected merger of military and civilian programs. The two additional satellites probably originate from the Yaogan military reconnaissance satellite series. The Gaofen satellites are likely employed as needed for civilian and military purposes – matching the capabilities of Yaogan in terms of ground resolution. The program was approved in 2010 and the first satellite, Gaofen 1, launched in 2013. Public and population health; illicit drug poisoning (overdose); Substance Use; mental health; prison health; health inequities; health geographyThe main goal of the CHEOS series is to provide NRT (Near-Real-Time) observations for disaster prevention and relief, climate change monitoring, geographical mapping, environment and resource surveying, and precision agricultural support. Gaofen-1 is configured with a PAN (Panchromatic) and Multispectral Camera (PMC) and a Wide Field Imager (WFI). These cameras achieve an imaging capacity at medium and high spatial resolution, with a wide swath width. This allows the Gaofen-1 spacecraft to be used specifically for detailed vegetation and forest monitoring, parameter generation, inland water monitoring and mineral resources exploration. Performance Specifications

On May 1, 2013, the GF-1 spacecraft yawed 90° and performed side-slither calibrations three times on orbit. This maneuver produced a radiometric flat-field input to the sensor so that the relative response of each detector was determined for the same exposure level ( Figure 16). The side-slither derived detector correction parameters were then used to improve the quality of the GF-1 imagery. A significant improvement in image correction was achieved (Ref. 14). Let’s take a look at some examples of different contexts and how the choice between chaos and cheos might change: Context

Gaofen 3 (02) joins the first Gaofen 3 satellite, which China launched into a similar orbit in August 2016, to form a constellation that uses radar to study both the land and the sea. The pair will be used for marine disaster prevention and mitigation, dynamic marine environment monitoring, environmental protection, water conservancy, agriculture and meteorology.
