If you are choosing between Olaplex 6 or 7, I would choose Olaplex 6. I love using Olaplex 6 and 7 together by mixing a few drops of Olaplex 7 into Olaplex 6. It also smells amazing. If both Olaplex 6 and 7 are above your budget, then I recommend Olaplex 6. Olaplex's conditioner is a weightless conditioner that's deeply hydrating. It helps stop flyaways and frizz before you style your hair. OLAPLEX products No. 4 and No. 6 contain minimal hydrolyzed vegetable protein, also known as peptides, at very low levels (0.0025% in No. 4 and 0.000625% in No. 6). Our other products do not contain any forms of protein. Peptides such as those in OLAPLEX’s No. 4 and No. 6 are chemically very different than standard proteins, and therefore do not weigh down hair.
