From memory you are correct that you need display version 3.1 for the Unika to work. This display version is set by hardware in the screen and cannot be updated. When we were installing MKi9100’s + Unika and the version was wrong Parrot would send us an updated screen and we would return the old one.

It has the latest fmw, On the MKi9100 go into Settings / Advanced / Restore Factory Settings and confirm the reset with the Green key on the remote. The MKi9100 will erase memory and re-boot. After re-boot set the required language by pressing the centre button on the Parrot remote. The unit will then re-start once more. Update Procedure Also, if you were using the microphones in the screen, if it does work you would need to fit the external mic. If the handsfree works fine and you get audio then have a look at the following setting on the MKi9100:Hi I have a mki92100 kit. For some reason the display screen only shows half the output? The left hand side of the screen is blank. Is this an error of the screen or the control box. It is difficult to navigate as you cannot see a lot of the test. Plus I cannot factory reset as I cannot see this command. I have tried deleting the memory with no joy? I am thinking of getting a replacement screen but won’t if it will not help. Could 1/2 of the screen be dead? The car's speakers accurately reproduce the caller's voice. The external microphone captures the sound of your voice while filtering out the surrounding noise.
