After all tricks have been played and won, the won tricks by the players are compared to their bids for the hand. Oftentimes, this may cause the dealer (the last bidder) to make a bid in which they would not normally want to make.

After each player has thus dealt an eight card hand, the next player deals a seven card hand, and the deals rotate around the table, with each specific deal containing one card less than the previous deal, until the number of cards dealt reaches one (one card hand).Before the playing of Blackout begins one player should be assigned the job of recording all the bids and totaling up the score at the end of each round. Clag: Clag is another game in the style of Blackout in which the game is played over a series of hands and players attempt to bid the exact number of tricks they think they will win on each hand. Every player gets given a random card from the shuffled pack, (players shouldn’t show anyone else their card… ) you will either be the killer or one of the victims… Everyone gathers in a circle in the middle of the room (or around a table) with one hand held out in front of you, almost touching the hand of the person next to you… the lights go off (or everyone closes their eyes) BLACKOUT!

To start, the player to the dealers immediate left then makes a verbal bid of the EXACT number of tricks he expects to win on this deal. If a player manages to win exactly as many tricks as bid during those hands, that player earns 10 points plus 2 points for each trick won during that hand. As in most other games of this type, the ranking of the cards as found in this deck are as follows (from highest to lowest): Ace, King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2. Full Rotation: This variation is the same as the standard game, except for there are additional deals in each game. If there are two players tied for the highest score, additional hands are again played (starting over with the one card hand and building up by one card per deal) until, at the end of a hand there is only one player with the highest score.
