All applicable customs and import duties and any other charges are the responsibility of the customer. It wouldn't be my first choice for evening training rides – lanes, tight corners and descents at speed need more peripheral vision than the Sirius offers, in my opinion – but I've been using it primarily for commuting, where it's been ideal: 80 per cent urban riding, 20 per cent unlit roads, no lanes. Its low, medium and high modes make it perfect for variable surroundings. Easy to use The Exposure Sirius Mk9 Daybright bike light uses the brand's own OMS programmable mode setting to enable the end user to set the power and number of light modes dependent on preference. The clamping system is easy to use and mount to the bars with the single Allen bolt. The light is just as easy to attach to the clamp and removal is totally intuitive. Day Bright: Bespoke pulse pattern designed for daylight use which is more conspicuous than a regular pulse and visible over a kilometre away, even in the brightest conditions. DayBright mode will you noticed. Be Seen be Safe

You get what you pay for and this is a beautifully designed light built in the UK. It’s not outrageous for what it is but it’s also not a bargain. When it comes to Lights products such as Exposure Sirius MK10 Front Light with DayBright, it’s essential to consider quality in addition to price. While it’s tempting to opt for the cheapest option available, low-quality Exposure Sirius MK10 Front Light with DayBright can actually end up costing you more in the long run. Burn time for the power is good but not the best and not using USB-C for the connections makes it harder than it needs to be. Reakt: Rear lighting that flares up automatically under braking. It can also intelligently adapt to the surrounding ambient light conditions to maintain maximum contrast and visibility, for example brightening for street lit areas and moving into sunlight from shade.

Like most of Exposure's lights, the Sirius has an anodised 6063 aluminium casing. Drop it and you might scratch the finish but you're unlikely to cause any damage that's going to affect the function. It really is ruff 'n' tuff. The light has an IPX6 rating, meaning that water won't get inside during normal use. The only downside is that charging is via a dedicated cable rather than the usual universal USB-B cable. This might put some people off as it means you need to carry a dedicated cable rather than rely on the usual one that everyone has everywhere. But the upside is that the charge port is well protected from the weather, as long as you insure that the fiddly rubber cap is shut properly. Operation is via a rear mounted button and offers a traffic light system to indicate which mode is engaged, it then switches to indicate battery level. There's a DayBright function too (accessible from any of the three constant modes) with two different flashing patterns that will get you noticed during daylight hours. ITM: Patented circuitry within the light will reduce power to the LEDs, if they go beyond the optimum temperature, keeping the light as efficient as possible to maximise output and battery capacity. Once the light has cooled, the power is automatically restored.

Smart Port+ enables the charge port to accept auxiliary accessories such as rear lights, remote switches, Support Cells and use your light as a power bank to charge USB devices. Fuel Gauge

Options for everyone. Depending on your needs you could have less complexity but the trade-off would be someone else not getting what they need. The point of all this is to keep brain power and guessing to a minimum when you find yourself at the limit while also offering a ton of choices. When riding, each press of the button will show a coloured LED. Green for high, amber for medium, and red for low. The main display panel also shows the mode you are in and a countdown timer. In case you forget which program you are in, the display shows that when you turn the light on and if the light is upside down, the display swaps direction. Day Bright: Bespoke pulse pattern designed for daylight use which is more conspicuous than a regular pulse and visible from over a kilometre away, even in the brightest conditions. DayBright mode will get you noticed. Be Seen Be Safe. Sirius the ultimate “to be seen” front light, now with the output increased to 900 lumens to light the road ahead in the dark nights. The Sirius hits the sweet spot for power to weight, housed in a CNC machined aluminium body that features 240° front and side illumination giving the flexibility to be used for the daily commute or longer rides. Technologies SPT+ Also, although this light is road specific (there are the Toro and MaXx for off-road) the bar clamp is sized for a 35mm bar. These are increasingly common for mountain bikes, but road bars tend to be 31.8mm. This means that in addition to the two halves of the split clamp, you have two spacers to keep control of as well.
